ANTH 242AA - Anthropology of Cyberspace
This course looks at cyberspace as a human society and utilizes anthropological perspectives to achieve a critical, analytical, and reflexive understanding of the internet and its relations to the real world. It introduces students to anthropological methods and ethical considerations in understanding the virtual life of the inhabitants of cyberspace. ***Prerequisite: ANTH 100 or completion of 12 credit hours or permission of the Department Head.***
