ANTH 248 - Ethnography of New Guinea
This course explores the diverse cultures of Papua New Guinea and other parts of Melanesia. It will investigate such topics as social organization, gender roles, and exchange, and reveal anthropological insights into the practice of cannibalism, love magic, and sorcery. ***Prerequisite: ANTH 100 or completion of 12 credit hours or permission of the Department Head.***
