ANTH 309 - The Anthropology of Personhood
An exploration of diverse cultural understandings of personhood. This course will use cross-cultural ethnographies as well as a variety of Western accounts to address social practices and understandings of bodies, sex and gender, subjectivities, emotions, and self-consciousness.
