FILM 480BN - Traditions in Animation
This senior seminar course will introduce important aesthetic, thematic and political developments in the history of animation cinema, its modes of production and audiences, focusing on four major traditions: Walt Disney and the Japanese animé, Canadian NFB, and the (Eastern) European school of animation. *Note: Students may only receive credit for one of FILM 380AJ and FILM 480BN.*
