SW 401 - Animals, Social Work & Society
An introduction to the theoretical and practical applications of animals and social work. This course offers a perspective on why and how animals ought to be important to social work. It will explore applications across the lifespan and include attention upon the welfare of animals in and of themselves. *Note: Formerly numbered SW 480AS. Students may receive credit for one of SW 401 or SW 480AS.*
