THTR 326AB - Shakespeare's Theatre
How were Shakespeare's plays originally produced? In this course we will study the historical staging practices and conditions of Elizabethan and Jacobean plays, examining external evidence (documentary sources and archaeological discoveries) as well as internal evidence (original stage directions and deictic language contained in the plays themselves). ***Prerequisite: Completion of 45 credit hours.***
