We explore Socrates as the first political philosopher. Starting with Aristophanes' critique of Socrates, we then turn to Plato's Socrates and his account of the soul, the holy and justice in the city and the soul. We conclude with Aristotle's criticisms of Socrates and his analysis of just political orders.
