PHIL 435CF - Philosophy for Cyborgs: Technology in Peculiar Places II
This is an advanced course in philosophy of technology and techno-politics. In this course, we look for technologies in peculiar places, including practices of care, eugenics, making race and disability, and philosophy. Reading works in philosophy, literature, and STS, we’ll theorize technologies and discover that we are always already “cyborgs.” Permission of the Department Head is required to register.
