CATH 290AG - Mary in Catholic Tradition
Mary of Nazareth's impact on Christianity has been undeniable. But what is her relevance today? This class will approach Mary from various perspectives: scripture, history, popular devotions, and official Church teaching. Other topics will address her contribution to art, culture, literature, women, indigenous and other marginalized groups. ***Prerequisite: CATH 200 or permission of the Program Coordinator.***
