BUS 303 - Small Business Start-Up and Management
Using a multi-period entrepreneurship simulation, students establish and manage a small enterprise. Topics include: characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, recognizing opportunities, legal forms and environments, financing, marketing, financial management, operations, human resources, using boards and advisors, deciding to startup, buy or franchise, and managing growth, transfer or exit. ***Prerequisite: Completion of 30 credit hours of university studies.*** *Note: Students may receive credit for one of BUS 235AB, BUS 335AB, BUS 476AB and BUS 303.*
