BUS 493 - Security Analysis
The course objective is to teach students understanding of the comprehensive process of security analysis. The covered contents include an approach to growth investing, industry and macroeconomics analysis, and valuation by comparables (such as balance sheet approach and intrinsic value analysis). The course has two parts. The first part teaches students the essential tools for security analysis. The second part is practically oriented and builds students' skills in conducting security analysis for companies in real world. *** Prerequisite: BUS 395 (concurrent enrolment is allowed)*** * Note: Students may not receive credit for both BUS 493 and BUS 492AC.*
