HIST 890BW - The Historiography of the Holocaust
This course traces our evolving understanding of the Holocaust, moving from early silences to a focus on analysing perpetrators, bystanders and victims; a post-Cold War turn towards Eastern Europe; and more recent applications of concepts from the fields of gender, spatial, visual, and LGBTQ+ histories, as well as memory studies. *Note: Students may receive credit for one of HIST 490AJ or HIST 890BW.*
