EMTH 310 - Teaching Mathematics in Elementary Schools (Pre-K to Grade 8)
This course is designed to address the philosophies, goals, curriculum documents, and methods of instruction and assessment of elementary and middle school (PreK to 8) mathematics. A critical, resource-based approach to this course will provide opportunities for students to reflect on and construct understandings of key issues in mathematics education. ***Prerequisite: Completion of 51 credit hours including ECS 101, ECS 102, and ECS 203.***
