ESST 310 - Social Studies for Elementary School Teachers (Pre-K to Grade 8)
Objectives, methods of teaching, curricular models, and materials in elementary and middle school social studies are reviewed. Theories and governing philosophies of social studies education are explored. Approaches to social and environmental justice are emphasized.
