The course focuses on the identification, evaluation and formulation of organizational strategy in an international context. Special emphasis is placed on inherent tensions faced by global organizations in developing and implementing strategy, such as the effects of cultural, economic and political differences on standardization versus adaptation and the identification of global niches, through the use of lectures, discussion, student analysis, and case studies of various kinds of organizations.
