| PSCI 390BH - Politics through Film |
|
This course explores the complex interplay between politics, the study of politics, and film. Film is not only a mirror of society’s norms and values it is also a reflection of both our political reality and the study of politics as a discipline. This course breaks new ground by showing how film engages timely (as well as timeless) political themes – such as power, institutions, the state, democracy, populism – and how film connects with the study of politics and its major subfields.
