STAT 712 - Principles of Statistical & Machine Learning
Statistical principles applied for machine learning techniques. Topics include, but not restricted to statistical learning theory, machine learning, linear and nonlinear regression, high dimensional data, linear discriminant analysis, random forest, ensemble techniques, and artificial neural networks. A laboratory component is required. *Note: Students may receive credit for one of STAT 712 or CS 712.*
