SW 413 - Child Welfare Systems and Immigrant Families
The course will explore the various forms of social work knowledge, theories, values and skills when working with newcomer/immigrant and refugee families. The course emphasis will be to explore ways to support immigrant and refugee families, using both micro and macro approaches. ***Prerequisite: 30 credit hours*** *Note: Formerly numbered SW 480AP. Students may only receive credit for one of SW 413 and SW 480AP.*
