PHIL 290AT - The Indian Residential School System: Philosophical Issues
A study of the concepts that can support nation-to-nation relationships today through the history of the IRS System, the ideas behind its creation, and the ideas of the people who resisted it. Topics may include: truth, testimony, colonialism, racism, genocide, harm, guilt, responsibility, education, healing, and reconciliation. ***Prerequisite: PHIL 100 or completion of 15 credit hours.***
