ENGL 310AN - Inuit Literature
Inuit Literature, or Titiraqtuq (he/she is writing), is a course that will explore and provide the Inuit worldview. This course will examine the stories that have sustained Inuit life throughout the ages. Inuit history in Canada, experiences of colonization and the revitalization of Inuit language, and Inuit ways of knowing and being will be brought forward through the writings of several Inuit authors in the hopes that all Canadians gain a better understanding and deeper appreciation for Inuit people. *Prerequisite: ENGL 100 and either ENGL 110 or completion of 48 credit hours.* 3.000 Credit hours 3.000 Lecture hours Levels: Undergraduate Schedule Types: Lecture, Examination English and Creative Writing Department Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Undergraduate Graduate
