This course offers an introduction to Indigenous Literatures rooted in the lands now called Saskatchewan and its broader prairie regions. Through a diverse range of genres, including oral narratives, poetry, fiction, memoir, drama, and song, we will engage critically and respectfully with Indigenous worldviews and story telling practices, exploring how Indigenous writers respond to history, land, language, colonialism, kinship, and resurgence.
***Prerequisite: ENGL 100 and either ENGL 110 or the completion of 48 credit hours.***
