An overview of traditions of thought that have challenged the political order of their time and sought to transform it, from the American and French Revolutions to the Russian Revolution. Topics may include: abolitionism, feminism, socialism, communism, anarchism, and utopianism.
***Prerequisite: One 200-level PHIL course, or permission of the Department Head.***
*Note: Students may receive credit for one of PHIL 310AT or PHIL 410AT.*
